Last week, we began the new semester, giving first-year students the chance to assess their personality, innovation potential and competence in real time using Shine Now, our research tool designed to encourage independent reflection. What a joy!

However, it was surprising that none of the participants knew their creative and cognitive potential, and only two were aware that they might be underestimating or overestimating their performance. -> After 13 years of education in Germany!

As an added bonus, the platform encourages students to reflect on themselves, helping them to make better decisions. Let’s see how many of them will continue to use the application in the long term. It remains exciting for me! 🙂
