Hi, I’m Sabrina Schork – a research professor, personal coach, and speaker. I am researching on how AI can support the identification and development of innovation talent.
Only a few people know their potentials: I have only known for a few years that I have a special creative and cognitive talent. I discovered this through my own curiosity and persistence. Statistically speaking, there are over 1.9 million gifted people in Germany and many of them are unaware of their good fortune.
Giftedness is not generally diagnosed: Many young people don’t know about their special potentials, and even though diagnostic tools have been around for 100 years, they have limited access. These are often reserved for children from academic families or knowledgeable, caring parents.
If encouraged, giftedness is the basis for innovative strength: Recognizing gifts and talent is the first step. However, nurturing is essential to turn potential into performance in a way that the person enjoys and has fun with it. AI could simplify and accelerate the diagnosis and support process.
